Laura Stevens 女人的痛苦情绪摄影作品集，是由英国的女摄影师，她拍摄了一组反映女人在心碎时刻的痛苦情绪创作起因是她在30多岁时结束了一段长达六年的关系，“我一直以为我是很独立的，但那一刻我突然意识到情感上的依赖，我害怕接下来将要面对的孤独状态”。

Following the ending of a significant relationship in my life, an undoing began. Whilst adjusting to being a single woman, I started to create a photographic narrative based on the experience of losing love. I began directing other women to portray the gradual emotional and circumstantial stages (as well as the well-trodden track of the broken-hearted).

By constructing images of the evolving chapters of loss and renewal, I gave myself a vantage point from which to view the changes occurring in me. Beginning with the feelings of pain, confusion and loneliness, I eventually moved towards the reconstruction of my identity as an individual.

The series features staged performances by different women, some of whom are friends and others who I discovered spontaneously in the streets. I had my subjects enact an intimate moment of adjustment. They are pictured in isolation, surrounded by textures, colors and the empty spaces of their rooms in their homes across Paris.

"Another November" is situated in a deliberately nostalgic present where memories are constructed and irrevocably discolored. In this series, the characters look back to a past that is not yet acquainted with loss. Yet as we look, we are reminded how time, the arranger of all things, moves only in one direction—through the sometimes painful present and into the uncertain future.
