Stock Video Vault was started by the Photographers at Crew West in Phoenix, Arizona. After working in local news for ten years, Jim Farrell started the television crewing company in 1994, and then expanded by adding satellite trucks in 2000.

Jim and his son Dustin now shoot assignments together and continue a family tradition of photography that started in the 1940s with Jim’s Grandfather and then his mother Susan Farrell.
